Fast Food Nation: What The All American Diet
is Doing to the World
by ERIC SCHLOSSER
This is a meticulously reseached book investigating the effect
of the fast food industry on America and the rest of the world.
It is not an anti-meat, anti-fat, non-dairy attack on the
western diet. Nor is it an attack on the fast food giants.
Instead Schlosser describes how the industry began and what
it has become. Particularly interesting is the description
of the lives of the people in the industry. What this book
does achieve is it gives you the chance to make a better informed
choice about where you get your hamburger and fries. |
